LUNA CELESTE
Ruby De’Rose is a symbolic character representing the force of
release, discernment, and quiet truth within The Inner Council.
Name: Luna Celeste, The Goddess of Night
Domain: Surrender
Core Function: Refinement, release, and discernment
Mantra: I release with ease, as it falls away. I trust what ends, will clear my way.
Embodiment: The moment you realise something is over and choose peace instead of resistance.
So, Who Luna Celeste?
Luna Celeste is the embodiment of endings when they’re done well. Not dramatic endings, not destructive ones, but the quiet surrendering kind, when you release what no longer belongs in your life. She exists in the space between attachment and clarity, where the emotional turmoil has settled, and the truth can finally be clearly seen.
She doesn’t rush or chase, or force. She simply observes, refines what needs to be refined, then swiftly removes what needs to go. In the place where others hold on, she asks you a different question: “Is this still true for you?”
Her presence is subtle. You may not notice her arrival, but you will definitely feel the shift within once she’s been.
The Character
Luna Celeste moves like a reflection across water: soft, deliberate, and impossible to rush. Her appearance shifts through the phases of her moon and each form carries a different emotional truth. The colour of her eyes change with emotional tides.
Her crescent-shaped silhouette wraps around her like a living symbol of her cycle, while she carries a pair silver shears, snipping away at all the ties to what is no longer, can be cut loose. She says, as she gently cradles a sliver thread of attachment in her hand, “I don’t remove what matters. I reveal what doesn’t.”
Her presence doesn’t demand attention, but quietly recalibrates everything around her.
Luna Celeste isn’t her to comfort you. She is here to clarify and remove.
Her Story
As the sister of the Sun, Luna Celeste watched as people divided themselves into two versions: who they were through the day, and who they became in the shadows of the night. And inside that rigid duality, something was lost: the nuance of who these people truly were. So as she watched, night after night from her pearly tower, she chose a different way of serving the people. So, one night, when the world had settled, she divided herself into eight phases, each one reflecting a different state of being and a different truth. But not to guide the people, but to reveal a different way of being.
